It's been a while in the pipeline but worth waiting for - Our next collaboration is with lovely lads from Clandestino . The design work on the logo is the work of Nick Smith from the trio and we love how it looks on the new white & dark grey T's.
Clandestino consist of Joe Morris, Nick Smith and Iain Mac - DJs, promoters and producers all from Leeds. They have been involved in the city’s underground music scene for over 15 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and bringing exciting new DJ talent to town.
Their visionary booking policy saw them regularly invite Erol Alkan, Tim Sweeney, Simian Mobile Disco, Optimo and Joakim to Leeds long before they became the established acts they are to day. Their sound takes in influences from the glory days of Acid House, the melodic elements of Balearica and the energy of Disco while always being focused at the dance floor.
Now starting to become in demand themselves Clandestino have a string of releases out in 2015 with EP's slated for Tronik Youth’s Nein Records imprint, Yam Who's Midnight Riot and Paper Recordings with a busy summer of gigs lined up so far taking in Alfresco Festival, Electric Elephant in Croatia and a debut appearance in London for Vanishing Point.
Clandestino’s own podcast series is revered world wide; with regular mixes from high calibre guests such as Andrew Weatherall, Jennifer Cardini, Eskimo Twins, Headman and many more.
